According to the chairman of the committee, patients who are long-term dependent on oxygen after COVID-19 are not ignored by doctors. "Sometimes there is a psychological dependence on oxygen, especially in those who have suffered from this disease quite severely. We will talk about those who objectively need it. We have created a department with 30 beds, where such patients are transferred for long-term follow-up, rehabilitation, physical therapy and, of course, oxygen therapy, where a person is gradually weaned from it," said Elena Bogdan.
